2011 Spotlight Applications Added to Application Search

August 25, 2011:  137 spotlight applications were added to our online database.  To access our Spotlight Application Search,  go to our home page, select SEARCHES in the horizontal navigation bar, then select APPLICATION and follow the instructions. 

Application Search –

  1. Enter the MAKE of the vehicle that you are interested in.
  2. Enter the YEAR of the vehicle that you are interested in.
  3. Click the Submit Query button and the available spotlight application information will display below.

Police Fleet Expo 2010

Unity will exhibit its line of police lighting products at the Police Fleet Expo located at the Americas Center in St. Louis, Missouri, August 25 thru August 27and our booth number is 602.  On display will be THE BEAM® post-mount spotlights, roof-lights and EYEBEAM™ spotlight and officer warning system and LED spotlight bulb.  Also available will be information about spotlight applications for the next generation of Chevrolet, Dodge and Ford police vehicles.

USPS Shipping Now Available for Online Orders

Shipping methods for online orders have been expanded to include parcel post and priority mail.  Now you may choose either UPS or USPS for shipping of online orders.

New NITE-EYES™ Work Lights now Available!

Unity is proud to announce the availability of a new group of work light products that exhibit the value and performance that Unity is known for.  

 Available in 6” round and 4”X6” rectangular styles, NITE-EYES™ work lights include wide flood and trapezoidal versions in black or heavy-duty chrome plated finish housings.  NITE-EYES™  work lights feature rugged high-impact ABS housings, adjustable stainless steel brackets, and halogen sealed beam lamps.  They produce outstanding beam patterns with uniform light output-ideal for utilities, wreckers, construction, industrial, public works, emergency vehicles, agriculture, HD trucks, railroad marine, camping and RV – almost anywhere that flood lighting is needed!

New NITE-EYES™ Railroad Driving Lights!

Also included in this new product offering is the NITE-EYES™  railroad driving light.  We are currently selling this light to several truck equipment companies that supply railroads with trucks that utilize drop down rail-gear.  When the light is positioned in alignment with the rails they extend the seeing distance dramatically providing safety and reducing driver fatigue.   Their rugged design and high intensity beam make them ideal for this specialty application.

THE WORK TRUCK SHOW® 2011 (NTEA )

Unity will exhibit its line of heavy-duty work-light and spotlight products at the WORK TRUCK SHOW® 2011 located at Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, March 8th thru March 10th in booth number 4872.  On display will be THE BEAM® post-mount spotlights, roof-lights and deck-lights; UNITYHID™ post-mount spotlights; and NITE-EYES™ work lights. 

2010 Spotlight Application Information Now Available

You may locate the correct spotlight components for your 2010 vehicle by using the application search or by downloading the 168-10P Spotlight Application Guide.  The link is located at the top of the application search page.

New Reverse Spotlight Application Search Available

You may now search for a spotlight application based upon the installation kit part number.  If you know the INSTALLATION KIT NUMBER and want a list of vehicles that the installation kit applies to use the Reverse Spotlight Vehicle Application Search .  Simply enter the INSTALLATION KIT NUMBER in either field(s) and click the Submit Query button to display a list of vehicles that the bracket was used on. 

Discover Card now Accepted

Unity has recently added Discover card as a payment method for online shopping.  Now you may purchase products from our online store using Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card.

Introducing the EYE BEAM™ spotlight and supplemental officer warning system

 

The EYE BEAM™ is a supplemental audible warning system that alerts the officer of movement near the driver's side of the vehicle.  The EYE BEAM™ contains a sensor, mounted on top of the spotlight, which emits 3 invisible laser beams, up to 35', that monitor the area for movement where the spotlight is aimed.  The EYE BEAM™ can be programmed to self-activate when the spotlight is turned on or programmed in manual mode so that it may be activated when needed.

 

EYE BEAM™works by positioning the beam of light from the spotlight into the outside rearview mirror of the stopped vehicle.  If one of the beams is broken, an alarm will sound and LEDs will flash to warn the officer.  The officer can then react to the warning appropriately.  In the event that the officer does not want the EYE BEAM™ to monitor, there is a convenient switch mounted on the head of the EYE BEAM™ that allows the officer to turn off the sensors.  However, for the officer's safety, the next time the spotlight is turned on, the system self-arms.
